Hmmm.... so I nid to save ard 7k-5k in order to have a baby.... Thks!

Frankly, i don't think so.
I spend about less then 4K cash for my boy, (based private gynae + delivery in TMC, for the whole period of 9months).
Of course there are some extra costing for 1st time parent (getting stuffs for your child, cheaper if you can find 2nd hand or pass it down.)
Well for me, freedom is definity one thing have to forego, less meetup with my foum Kakis, drinking kakis, MJ kakis etc...hahahaha. But nothing will bit the joy of seeing him grow lor...changes everyday and yes the super tough first 3 months...hahahaha

Not even close, my friend. A lot of things can go wrong during a pregnancy, not to mention the delivery itself. And since a lot of insurances doesn't cover pregnancy related issues, it can get really expensive! If you want to be on the safe side, you'd have to cater for at least $15k - $20k.

And even if you have a smooth pregnancy and delivery, the real cost starts after that. There are no insurances that cover the first 6 months of the childs life, so if the child has any issues, it going to cost.

And the daily necessities for the kid are not cheap either, so it will cost you, no matter what.... be prepared for it. There are a lot of ways to save on it though, you'll probably find that out too.... Smiley
