Indonesia's Speaker urges govt to re-evaluate DCA with S'pore

JAKARTA : Indonesia's House Speaker Agung Laksono on Wednesday called on his government to re-evaluate the Defence Cooperation Agreement (DCA) signed with neighbour Singapore.

Speaking at the opening of a parliamentary session, Mr Agung urged Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to negotiate the DCA separately from the Extradition Treaty.
