my thinking is eating out save alot
cause we only paid the food price
whileas when cooking at home

we need to pay the
ingredients
gas
water
electricity
soap

somemore after eating must wash the dishes
quite tiring

"only pay the food price"  Huh?

Friend, everything you list has to be paid when you go out too, and more!! There is,

  • rent
  • salaries
  • CPF
  • insurance

and so on that has to be paid when you go out too. You don't need to pay for that when you eat at home.

The reason it can be cheaper outside, sometimes, is due to "economy of scale".  Smiley

Personally I think cooking at home is cheaper and cleaner too.. the plates and cutlery outside have been used thousands of times  Tongue

How abt those caterer that you order which deliver dinner (3 dishes 1 soup) to your residence? Will that be any cheaper and less hassle than cooking on your own or bother everytime you need to think where to go for dinner outside.

Has anyone tried before? I thot of trying for 1 mth though.  Cheesy
