Singaporeans are of a very special and rare breed. They are known to be speaking Singlish in casual conversations. When they started to write, they wrote near or perfect English  Wink

They normally do not know who are the neighbours who are living a few doors away. On entering the lifts, most Singaporeans either look on the lift floorboard, at the lifts buttons, on the lift ceiling and are usually not interested to know who are around.

In the train, inspite of signs telling able young men and women to give their seats to elderly and frail commuters, pregnant ladies, etc , they pretended not to see anything and stay put pretending to sleep. Roll Eyes

oops oops Singaporeans are also known to be " KIA SU " " KIA SEE " " KIA KWEE " BUT WAIT, " If a FOREIGNER  steps on a Singaporean's foot, most Singaporeans will stand up and speak for the victim.

smile  " Romanian diplomat who run away with tail down "

It was reported that more than fifty witnesses are going to testify  at the coroner's inquiry into the death of Mr Tong  in a hit-and-run accident linked to an embassy car driven by former Romanian diplomat Silviu Ionescu.

One of the witnesses was so angry to witness the accident, that he was prepared to throw a stone at him . That's being Singaporean. That's stand up for Singapore. cheers
