Dear everyone,

Please help to do this short survey, will not take up more than 2 minutes. Thank you!

To understand the communty needs better, we are inviting you to share your views through this mental health survey. Mental Health
Mental health is more than the absence of mental illness: it is vital to individuals, families and societies and described by the World Health organisation as: "a state of well-being in which the individual realises his or her own abilities, can cope with normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to his or her community." In this positive sense, mental health is the foundation for well-being and effective functioning of individuals and communities.

Stigma
Stigma means a mark or sign of shame, disgrace of disapproval, of being shunned or rejected by others. It emerges when people feel uneasy or embarrassed to talk about behavior they perceive as different.

Silver Ribbon (Singapore)
Silver RIbbon (Singapore) was launched by President S R Nathan on 4 Feb 2006 to combat mental health stigma and encourage early treatment. Since its inception, Silver Ribbon (Singapore) collaborated with local and overseas organisations to reach out to community through innovative means by organising at least 2 mental health events monthly and commemorate World Mental Health Day annually.
