Have been thinking of how to put up links to articles that I find interesting, and would like to share.. on a hopefully frequent interval. And without cluttering up the forum with multiple topics without a direct relation to Punggol.

I figure perhaps a single topic, and multiple followups, might be the way to do so.

Found something today, Google apparently guests authors.. , and puts up videos of the event. These videos are titled "Authors@Google", and can be found with a search
on google, http://www.google.com.sg/search?q=Authors%40Google&hl=en&tbm=vi

Here's 2 of the videos, Randi talks about million dollar prize; acupuncture; homeopathy

Christoper Hitchens talks about religion in the video. Don't listen to Hitchens if you are deeply religious, and want to remain so.

Authors@Google: James Randi

Authors@Google: Christopher Hitchens

I have mentioned Baen before, in this forum.. but would like to introduce the publisher yet again.

Baen publishes Science Fiction, and Fantasy titles. A while back, in 2000, they started an experiment.. giving free access to several books at http://www.baen.com/library/books.asp

Over time, the number of books made available has increased to over 100 titles. It is a generous gift.. and I would like to help publicize the availability of the books..
