Hav u tried 'zi cai tang' ? it is known as 'seaweed soup' too..goes along well with some dried octopus n minced meat ball..n how abt dumpling soup?   Tongue

CNY soup is chinese new year soup.. i think the ingredients are chinese cabbage, meatballs, fish maw, sea cucumber, fishballs and either chicken or minced meat.... haha.

yeah, seaweed soup is nice. rem to soak the dried seaweed first. got money use dried scallops =p

Hi PPG,

Maybe you can also try cooking the mian xian with beaten egg and rou gen (pork coated with corn flour and some dark soy sauces to mix) soup. (Last time my late granny always cook this soup).  Also what about the xian cai duck soup.   smile
