Seeking feedback on "Ignore button" for this forum

Ignore button would allow you to ignore users. If you do not want to read what they post, just click on the ignore button, and you do not see their posts.

You may still see other people replies to their posts, and possibly quoted text.

Comments please?

Questions received:

Q1: Is this "Ignore button"  works both way or only one way.
For example: i ignore forumer "X", which i won't see "X" post and "X" will not see my post as well.

Q2: Is this "Ignore button"  avail. for deactivation or a "one time" thing?

A1: it works one way. if you ignore "X", then you won't see "X"'s posts. "X" can still see your posts, unless "X" ignores you.

In other words, you can deprive yourself of opinion and information from "X", but you cannot deprive "X" of your opinion and information unless "X" choose to do so.

A2: users can be unignored. not a one time thing.


Please Note: Feature is not stable yet. If you see the ignore button, don't use it yet. It is undergoing testing.

Limweech, actually, believe majority of us want to see a friendly, community-loving type of communication btwn forummers. But if there are forummers sending insinuating/insulting remarks, then even with ignore/unignore buttons won't help.
