If the discussions are on serious topics/issues, and we stay respectful, I don't see why they want to stay out. Anyway, what better (and efficient) way to have meaningful communications with our MP/grassroots than this - no need to rush down from work to meet the MP, no queueing, get answer/response/clarification in quick time, etc . Also, what better way for our MP/grassroots to know the community better especially those who may not find time to join the activities/organised sessions.

yeah, the MP will have the assistant of their assistant's assistant to reply to your enquiry. They are all very busy people you know? It's not election time and no strong opposition in Pasir Ris Punggol GRC.
Who cares.

HMmmmmmmmmm interesting......... I just wrote a few letters to my Mp last week because there were a few addresses and I didnt know which one will reach her as I got no acknowledgement of any kind...then guess what??

I got a reply from a lady saying that my letters are forwarded to the "relevant authorities " and they will reply to me and send carbon copy to her..As if I dont know who to write to in the beginning that I need her assistant to forward for me.... and its sign using Mp's name..sigh...
