Noleh. My GM said take out everything, and even use a VERY strong torchlight to shine on his eyes to make sure that it is okay.

Hello, I would like to share my experience also. I just did my lasik not long ago, sometime before CNY. I did it at the lasik surgery clinic at Paragon and it was a LOUSY experience. I sincerely suggest you go for other places, check around and choose one that you feel most comfortable. You probably only got to do this twice, so choose wisely. I understand Lasik is more of a commondity right now as you can see it everywhere (at least in Singapore), but that doesn't mean the clinic can be so "unprofessional". They have a few options available, each comes with different prices, while you were seeking their advise which one suits you better, they said "IT DOESN'T MATTER"! I felt what they really care is about pushing you to do the surgery, like doing a hard sell on insurance product. Who cares about your eyes.... what the he**- how does it not matter? It is my eyes, not food nor clothing...
Somemore, I had a hard time scheduling my 2nd and 3rd review, they told me the doctor is busy that i would have to wait until June (supposedly the 3rd review should be in April). I was quite upset about it, they simply don't care about any patient, what they care is keep having people do the surgery, once you are done, you just just nothing.

The result actually didn't come out very good, i am now R6/18 L6/18.
Anyways, I really don't like the way they treat the patients. Highly suggest you not to go there!

I wonder why most doctors in the Eye Centre don't go for Lasik themselves??

That's so true!  Also, as most of us may become far-sighted as we age, that means that those of you who have perfect vision now due to surgery may have to do corrective surgery later on or end up with glasses still.  I got that from an article so you might want to confirm that with your docs.
