During the dialogue session at  NUS with our defence chief, students brought up the subject again on our MM’s comment about the coming General Elections.

MM once commented , “ If the opposition wins in a GRC contest, Singaporeans should better sell their flat because they would no longer be of any value “.

Grin Grin  Not everybody will think the same way. When the market went down, more people will be buying up because it’s cheap. In no time prices will escalate again. You make a big sum. Reason ? because everybody needs at least a roof over his head.

On the baby dearth in Singapore :

Our defence chief commented :

1.   Singaporeans want to wait for perfection before getting married.
2.   You want to wait for the perfect man or the perfect woman to come along.
3.   You want to wait for the perfect house to come along before you want to tie the knot.
4.   You want to wait for the best moment in your married life before you want your first baby.
5.   You don’t want your first child unless you are sure he will score 250 points in PSLE.

Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Actually who created all the above “ Kia-su, Kia-see, Kia-kwee attitude in Singapore ?
