Malaysia will be constructing a road from JB town to link to the North-South Highway at a cost of RM1.2b. Once completed by end 2011, toll at causeway will be raised from RM2.90 to RM6.20. The toll will be  raised every 3 years and will peak at RM14.60.

Can you see the funny side of Singapore drivers?  No Singaporeans protest violently to Malaysia government when they ask Singaporeans to pay for their higway construction cost.  However, here in Singapore, drivers complain to government why should they bear the cost of highway construction???!!!

You know why...cos Msia know we will still go there no matter what price they charge. And what can we do when even our own ERP increases can't be challenged what more issues on the other side of the causeway.
