Sheet piles as a retaining wall.

In order to dig underground for basement level, sheet piling has to be carried out to the perimeter of the building site. The purpose is to make sure there are no soil movement to the adjacent buildings that may affect the stability of it's piling / foundation system.

To further strengthen the perimeter sheet piles, steel joist bracings had to be welded to it's corners in a diagonal design.

At one end of the Community Club site nearer to Punggol Plaza, a lower basement had been dug. Columns and deck concreting are in progress.

The above building structure to the right hand side of the CC had been coated with primer paint. Brickwall plastered, coated, and heavy support scaffold tubes removed. Construction is still on.
