Punggol 21 plus development plans ....are they taking shape ?

At the launch of “ Shaping My Punggol Exhibition “ at open field next to Punggol Plaza on 17 May 2008, 5 PM.

 About Punggol Town Centre : This is what was envisaged.

1.   Residents of Punggol want a vibrant town centre where they can shop, have their meal, enjoy entertainment, meet their friends and some form of leisure activities.
2.   The speaker was pleased to announce that HDB plans to launch the first sale site at the Town Centre for a mixed commercial and private residential development by 2010/2011. This shopping mall will be comparable in size to Junction 8 in Bishan.

Wow ! come 2012/3 Punggol Residents can forecast shopping in a bigger shopping complex, much much bigger than Punggol Plaza and Compass Point combine. That’s wait………

Just make it easier for reading : Up and coming projects to be launch soon in Punggol .

1. Corner of Punggol East and Punggol Drive , the plot of land will be reserved for Executive Condominium by HDB. The spot may be between Kadaloor LRT Station and the up and coming Waterways. It's a fantastic site overlooking the beautiful Waterways and most parts of Eastern Singapore and Changi Airport. Estimated launching date : 10th august 2010. Area 1.5 ha.

2. Punggol Central and Punggol Walk. The two projects are in Punggol Town ( punggol central ) one by URA, the other by HDB. Area 2.7 ha and 3.0 ha respectively. Launching dates 10th Oct and 10th Nov. 2010.

3. Punggol Point, this project by URA is progressing and already available. Total activites will cover an area of 1.16 ha.
