Waterway Terraces :

Waterway Terraces faces part of the waterway between Punggol Way and Punggol Walk.

So far the most spectacular view of the stretch of waterway is still the view opposite Sentul Cresent. ( per our observation )

Waterway Terraces offer the following :

178 units of 3 room flats 65  sq.m. costing between $186,000 to $237,000
588 units of 4 room flats 90  sq.m. costing between $300,000 to $376,000
306 units of 5 room flats 110 sq.m. costing between $374,000 to $458,000

The nearest LRT is Sumang station.

If Waterway Terraces proof popular, it will still take a year or more before we can see some site activities.

Punggol "Waterway Terraces" oversubscribed by up to 12 times.

This is the big bold headings on the local papers, on TV and Toa Payoh HDB hub visitors were full of excitement, talking about the first construction in close proximity to the waterways.

The Waterway stretches from Punggol River to Serangoon River. It's length is about five kilometres.

Lets take a look and see what views can we expect from the first housing project within walking distance from " Waterway Terraces "

On the left hand side of " Waterway Terrace " is Punggol Way with the Sumang LRT station. There is a new bridge to be constructed ( progressing ) over the Waterway.

On the right hand side of the " Waterway Terrace " is Punggol Walk , another new bridge across the Waterway with Sentul Cresent as a new road extension looping back to Punggol Place.

There is nothing much to see from the lower levels of the " Waterway Terrace ". Those opting for the higher levels, the higher the better,  may be able to enjoy a better view opposite Sentul Crescent.

This is the present view of the structures above water level.

Noise polution :

One end of Punggol Way links to the TPE expressway. The other end of Punggol Way links to a proposed Expressway going to Pasir Ris over Serangoon river. Thus traffic may be heavy on it's left. During the day, because Punggol is quite noisy, residents may not be undue disturbed. At night, when all is quiet, traffic noise may be horrible.

Of course, in comparision to fighter jets flying overhead, it is no big deal.

Smiley Lets survey the whole stretch of the five kilometres, pick the best spot, future Waterway Housing Projects may command a better view.  chitchat
