*sigh* looking back...i believe the factor that causes overall increase is the increase in GST to 7%...this leads to the higher inflation rate that we are experiencing now...and it is over the predicted value...perhaps the people who predict those figures should also recommend others follow suit...eating at restaurants is expensive nowadays 10% service charge + 7gst charge..17%...hawker centres/foodcourt more worse....gst increase 7% they increase more that 20%..and no checks done on them..*sigh*.....perhaps the govt should do a survey on the ground to see the reality of price increase....

I think they did. So they added more gantries and increase the gantry prices too.
Increased electricity tariff and next hike should be bus and train fare hike.
Bcos over the years, it has been proven that even all prices increased, sgporeans also LL have to bite by the bullet and continue to pay more lor.
