I think the fine is not good enough. He should be send to psychiatric treatment and counselling. If under stress, it will definitely affect his judgement. For god's sake, he is a captain, leading officers and men under him to protect the country. After the results of the treatment & counselling then the judge would be better informed whether to remove him from his post. As they say, with great power comes great responsibility. Does the decision imply that officers in the army are able to get away with moral behaviour issue? Then the decade old perception that the army is a rotten place still stands. Imagine those regulars working hard to promote jobs in the army more interesting only to be brought down by these offences.
