After the Finance Minister's few hours budget speech, MPS started to debate. TV and newspapers reported what has been brought up by the MPS. Opposition MPS also make some noise. TV also reported on some headlines. Newspapers did a more thorough coverage and is still continuing............

In a school debate, a chairman is present to do a complete summary of what is happening in the debate. Finally a winning team is chosen.

In a company meeting, problems are brought up, minutes recorded, actions taken and we saw progress made.

In this budget debate the followings were brought up by MPS ............

1  MPs praise 'pro-people' Budget but say it should also address needs of lower income Huh?

2  MPs suggest reducing rentals to cushion impact of rising business costs Huh?

3  MP Inderjit Singh says govt policies may have contributed to inflation Huh?

4  MP Low queries gap between expected budget deficit and final surplus oops

5  MP Neo calls for more direct assistance for low income group. Huh?

After this debate.........what happen ?......who is doing a summary and who is supposed to take action ? What is the next step ?  Huh?

wat follows the annual budget debate as in other debates in parliament is the MPs will retire to some cushy lounge in the spanking new parliement house and congratulate each other over glasses of wine about what a good wayang performance they put up

juz wana add 2 points over some recent events for all to ponder..

if im paid million dollar salaries to be a fiancial analyst and gave a negative budget forecast wheres in fact suplus shot up to insane records, i'd be told not to report for work the next day

if im paid also million dollar salaries to plan and market building projects but end up with more than 10 times over suscribtion, i'd be labelled as useless as a horse and shown the exit

elite salaries indeed

Pretend pretend talk business OK ? smoking

Next, your number 2 job as a Property Development Director........you screw up your schedue, sometimes building too many houses but no buyers......sometimes stop building for fun, rendering thousands of people who wants to get married but had to postpone because they simply cannot get married at the void deck without a room ...Right ?? ........How Can ? you do this ??..... Kana sack again ?? NO lar better  send you to the other part of Vietnam....HO CHI MING CITY.......ok?? Go there and teach the Vietnamese how to do better.  cheers
