All about New hospital development and medical staff needed.

A new general hospital in Yishun  named 'Khoo Teck Puat Hospital' will be ready soon to serve residents in the Northern part of Singapore.
 
When ready, the hospital will also be linked to clinics and other step-down facilities in the neighbourhood so that patients can be transferred easily from one care provider to another.

Spanning over 3.4 hectares, the 550-bed hospital will offer a comprehensive range of medical and other health care services.

The Hospital will be run by the existing team running Alexandra hospital.

The robust health care sector will be recruiting about 1,500 medical personnel consisting of doctors, nurses, occupational therapists and other supporting staff. 600 will be for Khoo Teck Puat hospital due to open next March. 

The remaining 900 will be for the new Jurong General Hospital to be ready by 2014. Staff to be recruited by March will temporarily run Alexandra Hospital. ( a temporary premises for Jurong General Hospital ).
