5 years on in this third-world housing estate, the lift alarm around blocks 109 and 110 continues to go off, every time during a thunderstorm.

Spoke to EMSU before and queried them why this happens. They couldn't give a reason.

5 years on and it's just happened again during this week's heavy rainfall. Lift alarms rang no less than 8 times in 2 days.

Honestly, one wonders what what the bloody Town Council is doing about this. Apparently the EMSU has never bothered to escalate the problem.

Bloody slackers!

opppps
dont blame them
instead blame town council
as they seek cheaper contractor to maintain the lift
instead of the respective brand agent

i think there is a news running about it in the papers sometimes back
can't remember when though

Hi,

I live in block 109B. And I hated that Stupid Alarm too.
Its always happened during thurdenstorm.
We wanted to complain, but don't know who to complain to.

But, I don't think its the Lift Alarm.

Initially, my husband and I thought its the Mee Toh School alarm. (It never came across to us that its the Lift alarm as it don't sound like it)
But, during the Dec thurdenstorm which trigger the STUPID ALARM so many times, we found out that it is the Carpark Alarm which had went off Ringing all the way.
I'm not sure whether is it always the same alarm that went off, but that morning when I go to the carpark, i found the Carpark alarm ringing non-stop. The Carpark Alarm Red Light and loud sound had made the carpark like a Disco place. (Ringing since early morning I think seven am)

Do you think it is the same Stupid Alarm?
Who can we complain to?
Its so irritating especially during night time when everybody is trying to sleep.
I always have to close all the doors and windows to reduce the Sound effect!!!!!
It will always ring at least 30-45mins before the "MUSIC" will stop!!!!!
