i'm also involve in the morning jam. It always happens arnd 730 onwards. 740 is the beginning of nightmare... Now i try to reach the junction of TPE before 730...very smooth. Guess SLA shld open up an exit at the round about near Mee Toh. That way, drivers can choose alternative route. Normally, i exit Lor Harlus. Imagine have to suffer the jam all the way to b4 Lor Harlus exit. Once i hit the exit, whooooooweeee....fly all the way to Hougang! I have even tried driving along Serangoon to HG Ave then to Defu..jam. Maybe intro new ERP gantry along TPE ( towards Pasir Ris )??

The traffic jam in Punkgolo is getting from worse to worst...
Somemore the population is not as high as those matured estates, thus it makes people wonder what will happen if this town is crowded.
Basically, it is a big big question mark of who is the clown who planned the TPE exits.. Must be a scholar! Based on books and theory only..
Sinkies really poor thing, pay road tax to suffer jams..
Look at TPE, look at CTE, so what if there are gantries? Are they there to suck more $ or there to really ease the congestion?
Soon there will be more and more gantries everywhere...
And when sinkies might think of switching from owning a car to taking public transport, the public transport fare increased..haha...

yo lor, I thought the widening work was completed? But the parade contigent still continues every morning. The bottle neck is at the junction just outside Punggol estate. The traffic lights also another joker design.
I saw a signboard asking for eye-witness on fatal accident. How it happened?

i sincerely hope the relevant authority will take action on those errant drivers.
secondly find ways to solve the bottelneck at the slip road orelse if there is
a emergency. i guarantee whoever in the ambulance will never make it to CGH
or anywhere else.

Sillypore is like that one... Unless someone dies in an ambulance due to this problem, nothing will change. The relevant authorities will just close BOTH eyes and pretend the problem doesn't exist. And the person who dies got to be high profile so the whole SG will be reading it and changes will be made. |

Punggol sud get another exit after pasir ris st 12. The congestion is up to pasir ris st 12 exit, after that, the expressway is clear. Hope they can expedite the building of a bridge to pasir ris from punggol central so that we wont contribute the chaos at the TPE entrance. But, we have to wait......seems that they are more interested in implementig ERP.

juz to share an observation and that is this illegal left turn has become so blatant its a daily affair. last time its only when theres a long queue of cars waiting to merge into TPE then i see.
now i see idiots in cars to lorries juz turning irregardless.. wat a bunch of incompetent fools at LTA and TP

Why is it taking LTA, TP so long to solve this issue? or they are not going to resolve at all?
It is not a matter of too many cars, it is the design and timing of traffic lights that affecting morning car parade.

Moscow circus is cheaper. This LTA circus cost million dollars per annum.
In Moscow circus, the acrobats better still can twist the body, twist here and there. LTA circus, twisting their brains already difficult.
