After so many yrs, the smell (pollution) is getting worst cos our neighbor country had expanded their shipyard and chemical plants. Those facing the waterway will smell the most. Very unhealthy....

2016 and I must admit I didn't learn about this pungent smell from
Pasir Gudang until a few weeks ago when I suddenly smelled toxicity in the air and couldn't trace the source as there were no newspaper reports nor TV news on it. I trusted the government had our interests at heart and if it was anything serious, they would have informed the public. So I continued to inhale the (potentially) toxic fumes for another week before I decided it was unbearable. I woke up in the middle of the night at around 3am and couldn't sleep because of the pungent smell.
So I decided to perform my own research and wow - I discovered a 'black hole'!
I was appalled that the authorities didn't do anything about it despite massive anecdotal evidence piling up.
