Punggol Waves is located South of the Punggol Town Centre ( punggol Central ) next to Punggol Ripples.

It is also next to the Tampines Expressway which can be quite noisy especially during the night.

Nearby is a Secondary School under construction.

This project consists of the following :

1. Three room apartments 105 units cost between $150,000 to $186,000 each
2. Four room apartments 259 units cost between $243,000 to $301,000 each
3. Five room apartments 209 units cost between $330,000 to $385,000 each

Recently, we saw activities going on at the building site of Punggol Waves. As usual, similar to other nearby construction sites, initially site offices were erected.

Soon tractors, cranes, excavators, drilling rigs with workers kept moving in. Drilling rigs were stationed and drilling for cast-insitu piles starts.

Next, trucks kept moving in and out of the site carting away dug-up soil. Piles were concreted and load testing performed. It continues for at least 60 days before the next stage of work commences.......

Take a look at this bird-eye view picture.

Punggol Waves with tpe expressways right in front..... is it going to be too noisy at night ?

This picture was taken at around noon, although not many vehicles were spotted but the humming sound of traffic kept druming into my ears. Sounds quite bad.......

Picture shows drilling rig at work together with excavator and crane. Not far away, load testing of completed piles are underway.

Punggol Walk is at the moment under going extensions and construction starting from Punggol Field.
