The following are proposed new road extensions / bridges across the Waterways which may provide a beautiful scenery especially in the evenings.

1. Punggol East new road extensions across waterways.
2. Edgedale Plains extension across waterways.
3. Edgefield Plains extension across waterways.
4. Punggol Road extension across waterways.
5. Punggol Place / Sentul Crescent / Punggol Walk across waterways.
6. Punggol Way extension across waterways.
7. New Sumang Walk across waterways.

In future most of the extensions may be link to a main expressway running over Sungei Serangoon towards Pasir Ris to ease traffic.

The stretch of land in front of the Oasis Lrt Station may be developed into a resort style housing fronting the waterway. Lets wait for this special development.
