Look at the old canal, probably serving pig and vegetable farmers who may be re-located, once, twice and finally conveniently forgotten.

Hopefully, some parts of old Punggol be preserved to show our younger generation what Punggol is like in the 50's and 60's.

Ten weeks later, lets take a look at the progress ........

The whole stretch of concrete walkway / park connector had been constructed. Along the beach / park connector are lined with decorative blocks with lighting points.

Street lightings also lined the whole stretch.

In the mid section of the walkway, vertical stainless steel supports are installed for handrails.

Noticed that for every two supports, the third is provided with a lighting point.
