When Punggol Central is fully developed in future, residents who wanted to go to Seletar will only take a few minutes of travelling time.

The main road " Punggol Central " will be extended across Punggol River direct to Seletar.

Residents from Seletar will be able to enjoy " Waterway Sceneries " and cut short travelling time if they intend to go to Pasir Ris, via a bridge across Serangoon river.

By that time, hopefully, there will be no more morning traffic snarls at Tampines Expressway.

Exactly 30 days later, the mid structural section of the bridge / Punggol Road, over the Waterway opposite Damai LRT station had been installed.

Civil, Structural Engineers and contractors are busy setting up the final adjustments and levelling.

The mid-section must have been precast in the factory, transported by long vehicles in the middle of the night when there are not much traffic, and hauled by heavy cranes to it's position. The entire schedule needs precision planning in all areas of work. That's Engineering.
