This is a video clip showing the temporary overhead gantry crane used to instal the prefabricated  reinforced concrete bridge sections.

At the moment it is almost done except for the installation of the mid-sections.

When HDB and National Parks Board design " My Waterways @ Punggol " , they had 4 main Themes in mind.

1. NATURE COVE : for visitors to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
2. RECREATIONAL ZONE : Catering for families outings.
3. HERITAGE ZONE : Preservation of certain parts of old Punggol for remembrance.
4. GREEN GALLERY : Combination of matured trees, shrubs, plants made up of the gallery.

Never had they in mind that one fine day, OTTERS will also call it home. It's proven the water is clear, warm and clean.
