It's heartening to note that the beginning section of the Old Punggol Road is still intact inspite of a major construction of the Waterway.

Let's compare a picture taken on 22 February 2011 and today's picture.......

The first three pictures show Punggol Bridge under construction and the fourth picture shows a completed Punggol Bridge of today.

Next, the first picture shows the Pavilion under construction near to the Old Punggol Road ( a small portion of the road still intact ). Note the vast piece of land bulldozed for the Waterway project.

The second picture shows the completed pavilion......

Building of a precast bridge over Waterways at Edgefield Plains Extension.

The yellow temporary steel structure across the Waterways is the overhead Gantry Crane used to haul prefabricated bridge sections for installation.
