A close-up view of cement grouting at work.

Look at how rough the pre-fab units look before the application of one coat of cement grout. When the whole building is completed with the application, it looks smooth and even. We will then take another shot.

Pictures showing Punggol Spring facing the LRT tracks along Punggol Drive. The progress are similar to the rest of the blocks in the estate.

Residents may be wandering how the tower crane, running vertically about twenty storeys high, with a horizontal boom hundredths of metre in length are able to support itself. Look at the thick steel braces at four storey interval bolted to the main building.

Punggol Spring still had about nine months left to complete the project.

Internally workers can be seen working on internal finishes. Outwardly, many vertical elevators lined most facades of the building, grouting and doing plastering work.

Others are working on the rooftop structures and water-tank compartments.
