Punggol Sapphire had enter it's final stages of completion. Workers are busy touching up the external and internal facades of the entire site.

Debris around the construction site had been progressively removed / cleared.

The multi storey car-parks are almost ready with Block Numbers installed. In fact quite a number of Residential Blocks are also fixed with Block Numbers. An addication that Keys should be handed to owners quite soon.

Punggol Sapphire's completion will bring in an additional thousands of new residents soon.

Also it will add pressure to road users as well as bus commuters rushing for the same number of buses coming out from the same old temporary bus terminal. ( the temporary bus terminal was 9 years old )

We walk the whole Punggol North, Central and Punggol East everyday. There are new projects just starting work. There are Projects half way through, at least 3 projects near completion. Two other projects with residents moving in regularly after renovation.

Roads ? Buses ? Bus Terminal .......The same old buses, meeting the same old drivers ( they called them Bus Captains )......nothing changed to cater for the additional thousands of new residents. oops oops

There is another feature found almost at all new BTO Projects now under different stages of completion. That is " the massive concrete structures of the LRT's.

The massive LRT concrete structures seems to snake in and out of every so call BTO's. It's ugly and a feeling of being " SQUEEZED "
