Well, after 40 years of nation building, the top leaders are still concerned about wealth and job creation. On the social front, they are not so willing to invest in it. So will the society progress?? clapping

answer
a big NO

they dont care if our ethic is so bad
as long we generate their income

Which is why if I am a parent in Spore, I am worrried about the character of my children. I am still considering if my children should grow up in Singapore.

I worry too..
At the end of the day it depends on the values & teachings that we, parents do for the children.
Children are the mirror of their parents.  It has to begin from home.
Success starts at home!   thumbs up

I have seriously thought about it. Even the parents spend a fair bit of time, the environment such as school and peer pressure will influence the children with all the bad values, plus the advertisements and shows on tv these days. I wonder how could parents cope?  Huh?
