Well, they are human after all. Restriction and control sometimes may not be the best way to go about it.

After all, what is to stop them if they truly have an issue with their mental state of mind? A well-adjusted person can and will do things out of the ordinary when pushed beyond his or her mental limits.

Any one of us is capable of going over the edge. We get angry sometimes. We yell at out loved ones when we get annoyed beyond our self control. We may get all worked up and flustered at work due to an unpleasant situation. And I'm sure some of us may even have done something a little crazy now and then.

Picture this... imagine yourself being cooped up in a apartment unit 7 days a week and venturing only beyond the neighbourhood store. You have an employer who bark orders which you can barely comprehend. You've never operated a microwave oven in your life until you arrived in this country. Crossing the street back home meant avoiding the occasional bicycle, not speeding cars and huge buses. You've got no family to turn to when you feel sad, nobody to share your joy and nobody to listen when you need to rant.  How long can you maintain your sanity? It takes good mental constitution to keep going.

So have a heart. We should put ourselves in their place.
