We never had this problem earlier, but today, I saw unwanted flyers strewn all over the floor.  Very inconsiderate residents to think that the dustbin is nearby  mad

Yeah my block is just as bad. Sometimes I wonder why people do this despite the fact that they can "lock" the slot of their letterboxes if they are adverse to junk mail and flyers. Like I really wonder if they litter in their own homes as well.

I think most of the time when the letters are taken out from the letter box, the leaflet (usually smaller) fell off and most people are too lazy to bent down to have them pick up since it's not important.
Some people don't lock their letter box so that if their letters are misplace into another letter box, the owner can help to deposit into their correct box.
