Well said! they are here all for the sake of their families... lot's of sacrifice.
granted there may be some bad apples, but let's not classify the whole basket. some of these workers spent the best part of their wife and children's life working overseas in difficult harsh conditions... and the not so fortunate ones get exploited to the max to the point of no place to stay, no where to go and no money to eat not to mention going back home.
we singaporeans are really a fortunate bunch! thanks to our forefathers and a good garment.
sorry..but i dont agree your last comment on "good garment"..cos if is a good garment..then why a lots of us dont want to work as contruction workers? does u mean that bcos of good garment..tat y u are living in good life while let those dirty or low income job toother ppl?i may correct it as thanks to our "good" garment..most of the s'porean are spoilt especially the young generation.
