During drilling, insertion of hollow steel cyclinder, lowering steel reinforcement cage to final concreting of the piles, the whole process happens underground.

After excavation, removal of subsoil, the top part of the concrete piles were exposed.

Compare this picture taken today ( 15th March 2011 ) to that of a similar picture taken on 27th February 2011. Notice the progress made ? That was only within a span of only 2 weeks.

First lets take a look at the top portion, where concreting of the foundations are carried out.

Firstly, a mobile concrete pump truck is securely stationed near to the foundations to be concreted. Next a mobile concrete mixer is park next to the pump. Concrete is fed mechanically / automatically from the mixer to the pump. Concrete is than pump through piping extensions direct to the foundations.
