Concreting of floor slabs were on-going at Blocks 31 and 35. Picture shows concrete work in progress at Block 35.

At least 3 workers were involved in guiding and pointing the rubber hose in concrete work.

2 were using portable air vibrators to consolidate the concrete mix to remove trapped air bubbles.

Another 2 to 3 workers using long trowels to level the concrete surface. Of course supervisors were also there to make sure it's done properly.

Overhead Tower Cranes normally sits on a reinforced concrete foundation supported by a series of RC piles. For a start it may be erected up to a height of between 6 to 8 floors depending on the " type " the "make " and the manufacturer's Engineering details and specification.

As the Building gets taller, the tower crane has to be extended accordingly. As the tower crane gets higher, it has to be braced and anchored to the building, in this case at every 6 storey intervals.

Picture shows the steel braces anchoring the tower crane to the building on the 6th floor.

It's interesting to take a look at the constructional details of the flooring. Let's see how it was done in the following pictures.......
