make Punggol surroundings better???

planting bigger trees in Punggol would be nice. The small trees in Punggol are not large enough to provide shade under the hot sun, along pathways in Punggol.

Haha, i know bigger trees are harder to maintain and cost more to maintain...
GOOD idea ... But that are what singaopore is doing .. Garden City. Try to jog  :stick:in the evening.

Every time when you look out of the windows, you'll notice there are totally no activites at the carpark rooftop gardens. What a waste. Angry Sad

This is a good place for relaxation after a hard days work, but it seems nobody is interested.

Don't you think a beer garden at a corner with soft relaxing music / moon-lit lightings will brighten up the deserted place. It seems the authorities are exhausted with ideas.  cheers cheers

Nice... Enjoying beer in a garden...
I thought of building BBQ pits but the smoke would travel up and into people's flats, so i think thats a no-no...

Haha if there are insufficient parking lots, they might convert the roof garden to more parking lots...

Rooftop garden is to cool down the surrounding and good for those who face the garden ... same as condo that face the pool .
this garden is another place for kids to play or people to relax. At least punggol are quite special for most of other town. maybe the RC shall think of certain small event that can fully use of rooftop garden ...eg. bird competition
