Bought about 4 years back, USED for less than 2 years, stored for 2 years. Still in totally shining, flawless, spotless odourless condition. Never sent to cleaners nor chemical treated any way. Only hand washed occasionally. The texture is so soft very malleable so comfy , even your pets will love sleeping on it. (Speculatively, the material used is either soft cotton or silk. The brand sticker is missing.)
